He has vast operational oversight experience across sub-Saharan African and Middle East & North African countries. Raphala has extensive experience across a variety of leadership roles, including driving strategic initiatives and serving on industry bodies.

His educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (University of Limpopo), Bachelor of Commerce (Majors: Economics & Business Management), and a Master of Business Administration (Gordon

Institute of Business Science – University of Pretoria) with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, strategy development, understanding dynamic markets as well as building successful brands. Raphala is also a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA).
